Job Summary:
As Project Manager, you will lead and manage enterprise software projects from kick-off to go-live (including initiation, scoping, planning, implementation, and closure with lessons learned) directly into customers operations within the Rail industry.

You'll work on the implementation of various solutions designed to increase operational efficiency to different departments within the Rail industry. About the Role As  Project Manager, you will lead and manage enterprise software projects from kick-off to go-live (including initiation, scoping, planning, implementation, and closure with lessons learned) directly into customers operations within the Rail industry.
You'll work on the implementation of various solutions designed to increase operational efficiency to different departments within the Rail industry. These include In Cab Driver Advisory, Planning and Scheduling, Workforce Management.
You'll have the opportunity to: Collaborate globally with other Trapeze Group and Modaxo offices to align with project plans and Statement of Work ensuring delivery and expectations are agreed upon during pre-sales and prior to kick-off of the project. 
Work with the pre-sales team to assist in creating Scope of Work and Project Plans.
Facilitate requirements definition and fit/gap analysis.
Identify and manage project resources and assignments.
Lead project kick-off, planning, progress, and steering committee review sessions.
Conduct regular status meetings with clients and stakeholders on resources, project scope, scope changes, additional services and go live activities.
Proactively manage project scope changes and risks, and charge customers appropriately.
Ensure completion of project legal documents.
Review and ensure completeness of project documents.
Provide overall quality assurance for deliverables.
Organize testing, training, and risk management.
Resolve issues promptly and escalate when necessary.
Identify project value "add-on" opportunities as they relate to a specific project and share internally with key stakeholders to identify low impact to the project (change order) or an opportunity to save for post project sales. 
Forecast revenue, manage budget, and monitor financials.
Analyse project profitability, revenue, bill rates and utilization.
Track team hours and expenses monthly.
Develop lasting client relationships, regularly communicating with them to identify needs and solutions.
Manage client expectations and interactions effectively.
What you'll bring to the role: Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Project Management, or an equivalent level of experience in a related role.
Experience in product implementation, project management in software development, service delivery or similar with a proven track record in both service delivery and people management in an IT services environment.
Experience dealing with clients of all sizes, including the ability to manage expectations across multiple levels of the customer organisation.
Strong financial and commercial skills with experience in managing budgets (basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-complete projections), applying governance, and developing processes.
Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary project management methodologies with understanding and applying a disciplined process approach to projects and driving continuous value of products and solutions.
Experience in effectively implementing process improvement initiatives.
Understanding of software applications, database organization, and system design.
Experience working with government clients would be advantageous.
