Mobility

Digital61 assist business to unlock the inherent mobility embedded in cloud: ensuring mobility is deployed in a secure and stable manner, without disruption to existing processes.
Security

Digital61 builds security into all services and solutions: providing accredited IRAP assessors (Infosec Registered Assessors Program) and security analysis capability to all managed services.
The role

Digital61 requires a project manager to manage projects across multiple clients, including federal government and commercial entities.
Key Responsibilities

Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
Define project objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Execution: Manage project execution, ensuring that tasks are completed according to plan, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, identify and address potential issues or risks, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively, including team members, budget, and materials.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including team members, clients, and senior management.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with stakeholder expectations.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

What You Bring

Experience: 3+ years of experience in project management, with a demonstrated ability to deliver projects successfully across various industries or sectors.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.

Skills

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) is preferred.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Leadership: Proven leadership skills with experience in motivating and guiding project teams.
Problem-Solving: Ability to work in a team environment to solve complex business problems.

Clearance Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must

meet the following criteria: Be an Australian citizen (permanent residents and/or Australian working visas are not adequate); and Have an active Baseline Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance (or higher) or at least the ability and willingness to obtain and hold one.
