Reporting to the Regional Manager, we are seeking an experienced Asphalt Project Manager to join our team in Welshpool, Perth.
Your primary focus in this role will be to oversee the efficient and effective daily operations of asphalt crews within Boral's asphalt business.
You will be accountable for delivering a number of key activities, successfully guiding and mentoring work groups and delivering high quality projects safely and efficiently which supports the continued growth of the business and the teams within your remit.
Your day will involve: Complying with Borals OH&S policy and ensuring our Safety and Environmental standards are met.Responsible for scoping out works prior to commencement and ensuring correct resourcing is in place to deliver works safely and efficiently.Managing supervisors and crews.Ensuring all day-to-day operational targets are achieved including financial, volume and quality.Establishing and maintaining strategic customer and supplier relationships.Conducting weekly program meetings.Working with labor hire companies to fill positions for job specific programs or roles required.Overseeing all projects and paving contracts and resources to complete works.What are we looking for? 5+ years' experience with knowledge of asphalt manufacturing, asphalt contracting and/or sprayed seal contracting or another relevant field.Customer engagement and negotiating skills at a site level including contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.Passionate asphalt professionals looking to progress their careers.Strong leadership and mentoring qualities.What's on offer?
