We are looking for a high-caliber Project Manager with extensive Federal Government and ICT experience to support a new program of work.
Australian citizens with a Baseline clearance will be highly regarded for this opportunity.
Both permanent and contract options are available.
Key Requirements: Experience working on ICT infrastructure and application projects.
5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning complex projects and/or programs.
Experience and/or certifications in project/program management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the practical application of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and contract management.
Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals, with the ability to recommend and implement necessary budget changes.
Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors, with excellent communication skills, both written and oral, across technical and non-technical staff at all management levels.
Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio), Microsoft Project, Share Point Online, etc.
Proven ability to plan and drive the delivery of complex and/or large ICT projects/programs.
Effective management of competing priorities to ensure successful project outcomes.
Experience in developing and maintaining quality project management artefacts, adhering to endorsed project management frameworks and departmental standards.
Ability to actively monitor, track, and control outputs to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
Experience in procuring and managing resources to achieve project/program objectives, in line with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
Provide on-site leadership for project/program teams, motivating team members to meet project/program goals while ensuring adherence to responsibilities and project milestones.
Ability to accurately report on project/program progress, including the prompt identification and escalation of risks and issues, with recommended mitigation or treatment strategies.
