ACR World is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join a in civil engineering and building construction projects specialist company.
We are recruiting for an experienced Civil and Building Construction Project Manager to lead and manage a variety of construction projects across NSW.
The opportunity is working for a SME sized company who have been awarded a number of projects in and around NSW.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of civil and building construction projects from initial planning to final completion. Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Oversee site operations to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality assurance protocols. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans and resources as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and contractors. Ensure all required permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained and completed in a timely manner. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process. Lead project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to project goals. To apply for this Project Manager role you must meet the below criteria:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field in Australia Minimum 5 years experience managing Civil and Building Construction projects in Australia Ideally have proven experience at small to medium sized Civils or Construction company Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
