EdSmart is an education administration platform that digitises and automates various processes in schools.
We make the running of a school more manageable for parents, teachers, administrators and students.
EdSmart has more than 1,200 school customers in eight countries and also works with large school jurisdictions.
Summary: The Project Manager is pivotal in supporting the Chief Product Officer (CPO) in project delivery.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, the Project Manager ensures initiatives are effectively planned, executed, and aligned with organisational goals.
About the Role: The Project Manager reports to the CPO and is responsible for planning, facilitating, and delivering key product and project initiatives, including new customer implementation projects.
This includes working closely with internal teams and external partners to identify needs, manage priorities, and ensure successful outcomes.
This role requires strong project management skills, process improvement expertise, and a user-focused mindset.
This full-time role requires hybrid work and is ideally based in Adelaide, South Australia, to promote in-office time with key customers.

The Project Manager is a central point of contact for coordinating relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and partners, ensuring effective governance and seamless delivery.
Responsibilities: Discovery and Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with the CPO to scope and prioritise discovery initiatives for new projects.Facilitate workshops, stakeholder mapping, and co-design sessions to uncover challenges, opportunities, and requirements.Document and analyse stakeholder feedback to validate assumptions and align with strategic objectives.Project Delivery and Execution:Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards.Proactively identify and address risks, implementing mitigation strategies to maintain momentum.Communication and Reporting:Provide regular updates to the CPO on project progress, risks, and outcomes.Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including discovery findings, project plans, timelines, variance reports, risk registers, and status reports.Communicate project goals and expectations to both internal and external stakeholders.Training and Feedback:Collaborate with the team to develop training materials and support user adoption of new solutions.Gather and analyse feedback post-implementation to inform future improvements.Support continuous improvement efforts by tracking and reporting key metrics such as user adoption and satisfaction.Reports To: Chief Product Officer
Key Relationships: Product and Design teamProduct Operations teamDevelopment and Technology TeamsExternal Stakeholders (e.g., customers, government bodies, partners)Key Skills and Qualifications: Required Experience: 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within SaaS or software implementation projects.Proven success in managing large-scale, enterprise-level projects with complex requirements.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced environments.Skills and Competencies: Exceptional organisational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.Familiarity with risk management strategies and practices.Desirable Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related field.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certified Practitioner).Experience in the education or EdTech sectors is a plus.Next Steps Please submit your Cover Letter and Resume via SEEK or Employment Hero!
