As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and driven HVAC+R Project Manager to join our team, playing a crucial role in delivering successful HVAC projects.
About the Role:
The HVAC Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, including project estimation, design, tender proposals, and site management. This is a hands-on role, where you will oversee project execution while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Your ability to balance detailed project quotes and designs with active project management will be essential to the role's success.
Key Responsibilities: Project Estimation: Prepare accurate and competitive quotes, considering labour, materials, and project timelines.Tender Proposals: Develop and submit tender proposals, ensuring competitive pricing and comprehensive solutions for our clients.Design Support: Assist with intermediate-level HVAC system design, ensuring functionality and compliance with industry standards.Project Management: Oversee all aspects of HVAC projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.Site Visits: Conduct site inspections to assess project needs, monitor progress, and address any issues that arise.Risk Management: Ensure projects comply with ISO and safety standards through regular risk assessments and on-site evaluations.Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.Team Coordination: Work closely with technicians, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.Reporting: Deliver regular project reports to senior leadership and clients, outlining progress, budgets, and any issues.Key Requirements: Proven experience in HVAC project management, including estimating, tendering, and design.Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and a deep understanding of industry regulations.Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project)Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Experience with regulatory compliance, including ISO standards and safety regulations.A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing competing priorities.Qualifications: A degree or diploma in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, trade certificate or a related field.Relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly regarded.A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project management, including project estimation and design.What We Offer: A supportive team culture that encourages growth and development.Opportunities for professional growth through exposure to diverse and challenging HVAC projects.Competitive salary and benefits package.How do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.
