The company focusses on structure layout and design, component level design, analysis, manufacturing and material supply. They work with its installation partner, to provide a full service from initial enquiry through to installation and sign-off.Their combined goal is to provide a fully tailored and engineered product that will reduce environmental risks and increase grower confidence and competitiveness.About the roleThe Project Manager will play a crucial role in facilitating project success from contract initiation to completion across all company projects. This individual will be the primary point of contact for clients and coordinate between clients, design, engineering, surveyors, and construction managers. They will focus on project scheduling, monitoring performance, mitigating project risk, and managing any cost & schedule variations. With the help of a supporting project team, the Project Manager will deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired structural Responsibilities for the roleInitiation* Take control of projects from the sales team upon contract initiation.* Coordinate with clients, designers, engineers, surveyors, and construction managers.* Ensure construction drawings and engineering are up to date and complete.* Address any cost and schedule variations arising from the contract initiation phase.Planning:* Develop a detailed baseline project plan using MS project, or equivalent tool for each project, with the aim of meeting contractual deadlines whilst determining the resources required.* Ensure all project plans are thoroughly documented and receive the necessary approvals from all relevant stakeholders.Execution:* Execute the project tin accordance with the baseline project plan.Monitoring & Controlling:* Regularly assess and update the project performance providing monthly updates to all stakeholders.* Identify and manage project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.* Facilitate and coordinate any variations, and manage the change control register.* Update the project plan as required.* Propose resourcing changes and additional acquisitions.Closing:* Plan for project closing sign-off and propose resourcing reallocations.* Ensure the client has the desired outcome, and the sign-off is complete.* Liaise with Finance to complete financial close out.* Conduct the project closing review with all internal stakeholders.Communication:* Maintain open and effective lines of communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring expectations are managed, and any issues are promptly addressed.Team Building &Training* Build and develop the company project management capability.* Train project staff as required to improve project capability within individual project teams.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies.Skills & experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent in Project Management or Construction Management.Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or engineering sectors, with a strong background in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and changing environment.Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with clients, designers, surveyors, and construction teams.Familiarity with construction drawings, site preparation, and project scheduling.Competence in budget management and resource allocation.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Flexibility to travel as needed.CultureA very rewarding role that offers independence and growth opportunities.
