A brand-new opportunity has become available for an ICT Project Manager to join a great Government department in Queensland.Responsibilities:In this role you will be leading a project team for multiple high-impact projects: Collaborate with Enterprise Technology Services and Digital Solutions teams to drive project success.Develop essential project documentation, including stakeholder management, resource management, task allocation, reporting, and change management plans.Oversee all aspects of end-to-end project management, from scoping and planning through to implementation and deployment.Proactively monitor, manage, and report on project progress to ensure alignment with objectives.Communicate clearly and effectively across various channels to keep stakeholders and team members informed.Actively manage project schedules, ensuring seamless transition to BAU through structured change management.What you will need:Hybrid project management expertise, with experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.Proven ability to coach Agile methodologies to stakeholders and maintain governance over Agile artefacts.Experience delivering cloud-based SaaS applications integrated with enterprise systems.Ideally, previous exposure to Education or Government environments.Exposure to Azure.Essential Skills and Experience:Significant experience in project management for complex ICT projects, including PRINCE2 methodology.Strong background in delivering ICT projects with robust governance, change management, and release management under tight timelines.Proficiency with Microsoft Project and ideally Microsoft Enterprise Portfolio Online for project scheduling.Expertise in creating governance artefacts essential to successful project delivery.Ability to lead project resources and manage stakeholders and vendors to achieve ICT-enabled business outcomes.Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with senior stakeholders, to manage risks and issues effectively for informed decision-making.Skilled in translating technical and non-technical concepts for a wide range of stakeholders.This role offers you the chance to work on high-impact ICT initiatives within a flexible, collaborative environment.
