Remuneration: ASO7 ($108,109 - $116,864 per annum) + 11.5% Superannuation
Role Details The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Project Manager to join on a full-time term basis as a key member of the IT Project Office. The role is responsible for:
Planning, executing and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget while ensuring value of technology investment through the design and management of the projects. Effectively applying methodology and enforcing project standards, monitoring and reporting on project performance. Proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential crises and devising contingency plans. Implementing strategies that deliver continuous value and enable long-term transformations that increase the organisation's capacity to adapt to changing technological and Child Protection landscapes. About You We are looking for a confident individual who has a proven record of envisaging and leading the delivery of successful ICT & IM solutions in complex environments. Our ideal candidate will have:
Strong financial intelligence skills and experience with budget estimation and management. Extensive project management methodology knowledge. The ability to use analytical and systems thinking to tackle complex problems and devise successful resolution strategies. Broad knowledge of the technological landscape. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate with key stakeholders.
