Our business offers painting maintenance solutions to major projects across the country, varying from beautiful, heritage listed buildings to complex multi-level high rise hotels.

Our Hobart branch is now ready to take on a full-time Project Manager to help build and shape the culture of a growing team working on a diverse range of exciting projects.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of all commercial repaint and maintenance projects, managing them from start to finish.
Typical projects include multi-story buildings, schools, shopping centres, aged care facilities and commercial buildings.
As our clients and projects are varied across Tasmania, mostly in Hobart, there will be some travel involved and a fully maintained company car as one of the perks of joining the team.
KEY DELIVERABLES Oversee multiple projects at the same time at varying stages and complexity.
Day to day planning of labour and materials.
Problem solving and job monitoring.
Work with the sales team to assess job costings and methodology.
Ensure strong conformity to Higgins WHS standards and systems.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCES & PREFERENCES Building industry experience, preferably in painting and decorating with a minimum of 5 years' experience managing small teams on concurrent projects.
Ideally, you will also have experience in: Assessing budgeted hours and costs of projects.
Using online documents and WHS systems.
Ability to complete documentation electronically.
Supervising safety compliance.
Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers and monitoring on site performance.
Ensuring client satisfaction through high levels of written and verbal communication.
Coaching/training painters.
