The Project Manager will be responsible and accountable for ensuring the overall operation, delivery, and management of residential projects are completed on schedule, to an exceptionally high standard, and within budget.
The Project Manager will work closely with other development team members in providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship whilst achieving project objectives together.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborating with senior leaders and wider team to implement successful project and company outcomes.
Review of DA drawings for buildability assessment and identification of potential value management opportunities.
Prepare project programs for procurement and delivery through to settlement for inclusion in feasibilities.
Strategic selection, tender, negotiation, and management of builders.
Oversee the performance of external consultants and contractors.
Provide leadership and take responsibility for the delivery of development projects, for delivery items.
Lead negotiations with external stakeholders to ensure the best commercial outcome is balanced with brand principles, reputation, and project objectives.
Manage and lead the collaboration with external consultants and builders to achieve successful delivery of project outcomes to exceptionally high standards.
Providing general support and collaboration with senior team members and leaders.
What you'll need to succeed
A relevant bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate credentials in property, engineering, or construction.
Established stakeholder network including designers, consultants, builders, and authorities.
Strong computer skills including strong skills in MS Excel and MS Project.
Highly effective communication style, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects whilst maintaining a high attention to detail.
Able to plan strategically, solve challenging problems, and influence outcomes.
Ability to identify and foster positive internal and external stakeholder rapport, including executive and authority stakeholders.
A passion for delivering complex design-led projects to the highest quality.
