Project Manager - Governance

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing a 2025-2029 council plan. You will efficiently and effectively research, develop, and deliver the plan document, while providing support to stakeholders, contractors, and consultants.

Position objectives:

Efficiently and effectively lead, coordinate and deliver the development of the Council Plan 2025-2029 (incorporating the Municipal Health and Wellbeing Plan).
Ensure that all Council Plan engagement activities are undertaken in accordance with Council policy and the Local Government Act 2020.
Effectively manage contracts and contractors/consultants directly responsible for Council Plan outputs.
Provide adequate support to all stakeholders in the project delivery process, including project managers of other integrated strategic planning (ISP) documents, to understand and deliver on their roles and responsibilities and project deadlines.
Collate and analyse research, data and other information relevant to the Council Plan development including regional initiatives (i.e. G21 and SW Alliance).
Write and construct the Council Plan document and coordinate the development of the Council Plan Action Plan.
