Add expected salary to your profile for insightsThe OpportunityAt APA, our purpose is simple: to strengthen communities through responsible energy.We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Manager - General to join our Networks team in Kidman Park SA, on a Permanent Full-time basis.Reporting to the Manager Capital Delivery SA, Networks, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing projects that address changes and developments that can have a significant impact on a particular business unit or APA as a whole.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping project budget from project and resource plans, managing the project through development and implementation stages according to budgetDesigning and developing strategies and processes, in consultation with team members/stakeholders/business consultants, which will support the implementation of the projectReviewing and responding to corporate policy issues, providing advice and establishing policies when requiredIdentifying key stakeholders and working proactively to gain their support and endorsement by establishing contacts, conducting presentations/workshops, and attending stakeholder meetingsDetermining project resourcing requirements, recruiting staff, and managing the development and implementation of the project on a day-to-day basisYour backgroundTertiary qualifications and or quality Project management skills and experienceProcess re-engineering/business improvement/change management expertiseStrong record of delivering results, using operational efficiency and commercial acumen to effectively implement the business strategyExcellent leader who has skills to foster relationships with staff and other business stakeholdersStrategic thinker able to structure & prioritise a program of works including resourcing to optimise production & spendAbout the TeamNetworks manages and operates transmission pipelines and local distribution networks that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.This is an exciting time for the Networks team, we are growing and expanding with many new projects, including 2032 Olympics.
