The Suburban Land Agency (SLA) is seeking an experienced and motivated Program Director to progress a portfolio of current and future land release projects to meet the ACT Government's Indicative Land Release Program.Working closely with peers across the Land Supply Group and SLA, the successful applicant will manage a dynamic and complex program of works related to the investigation and identification of potential urban development areas, due diligence activities, site specific planning, and strategic and advisory services for land suitable for consideration in the Indicative Land Supply Program (ILSP) and Indicative Land Release Program (ILRP) that can be identified and agreed by the ACT Government's Land Supply Committee and SLA Board.The successful candidate will be highly organised, motivated, and an excellent communicator. They will possess skills and experience in coordinating projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget, identifying potential issues and developing proactive solutions, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and influencing decision-making processes to achieve favourable outcomes for the Territory.The role will work closely with internal SLA Place Delivery Teams as well as other ACT Government Directorates, industry and the broader community in creating communities that are vibrant, connected, inclusive, resilient and healthy urban places for people.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people with diverse thoughts, lived experience, and perspectives can thrive and contribute their unique talents to the ACTPS and ACT community. We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, veterans, younger and older workers, and people with diverse genders, sexes and sexualities to apply.Eligibility/ Other Requirements: The successful candidate will have prerequisite qualifications or experience as follows:Engineering – a four year degree or higher qualification accredited by Engineers Australia or Professionals Australia for recognition as a Professional Engineer (including recognition of equivalent overseas Engineering qualifications) and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in Engineering; orArchitecture – a three year degree or higher qualification accredited by an Australian State or Territory architecture authority for recognition as a Professional Architect (including recognition of equivalent overseas qualifications) and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in Architecture; orProject Management – either:A diploma in Project Management accredited by an Australian State or Territory tertiary education institution or an equivalent overseas qualification that is eligible for reciprocal recognition in Australia and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in project management; orCertification by a professional body, such as the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), to the level of Certified Practicing Project Director (CPPD) or Certified Practicing Portfolio Executive (CPPE), in addition to a relevant degree or higher qualification issued by an Australian State or Territory tertiary education institution or an equivalent overseas qualification that is eligible for reciprocal recognition in Australia and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in project management; orHave at least 10 years relevant experience in project management, as described in the work levels.Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.How to Apply:Applicants should submit a supporting statement, addressing the Professional/Technical Skills and the Behavioural Capabilities of no more than two A4 pages outlining your skills and experience relevant to the role.A copy of a current curriculum vitae and the contact details of at least two referees are to be provided.Applications should be submitted via the Apply Now Button Below.#J-18808-Ljbffr
