Details: ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and suitably qualified person to fill the position of Project Officer (GSO10), in the Facilities Management Unit, located at the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC).As part of the Facilities Management Unit, the Project Officer is responsible for the coordination of internal resources, internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers for sound execution of projects, contracted work and services.The successful applicant will comprehensively manage multiple concurrent minor works, repair, capital upgrade and business system upgrade projects including project documentation from initiation to closure stages.Further, this position will offer guidance through coaching and mentoring to detainees, driving a positive workplace culture that reflects ACTCS' core values of respect, integrity, collaboration and innovation to develop their work skills with a goal of improving post release employment opportunities.To be successful, you will demonstrate significant experience within maintenance and construction industries, including but not limited to project delivery, procurement and equipment acquisition.
