Project Manager – Flood Sustainment

This position is responsible for the project management of the Flood Warning Network (FWN) capital sustainment program of work.
Reporting to the Flood Warning Network manager, the role will work closely with Flood network managers in the Observing Network Service Management (ONSM) team, within the Observing Systems and Operations (OSO) program.
Sustaining critical Bureau-owned FWN assets from a centralised team will ensure the standardisation of assets across the country and allow for a streamlined project delivery model.
We seek a suitably qualified and experienced project manager with experience delivering flood network, radio alert technology, or hydrographic projects.
The role is responsible for the project management of over 1 million dollars in priority sustainment activities across the FWN.
Most upgrade activities are in Tasmania and South Australia.
Upgrades include various complexities of work at Flood Warning Network (FWN) radio repeater, river level, and rainfall sites.
