Project Manager - Fit Out

About Sydney's leading commercial fit-out contractor is on the lookout for a proactive Project Manager with fit out and finishings experience to become part of a dynamic team renowned for delivering high-end commercial and retail fit-outs.
With a robust and expanding portfolio of projects on the horizon, this role offers an excellent chance for an ambitious contract Project Manager to have long term, ongoing options with this firm.
You'll gain experience managing both commercial office and high-end retail projects, characterised by fast-paced turnarounds, providing diverse project exposure.
The Role As a Project Manager in this CBD-based firm, your responsibilities will include: Managing client relationships and ensuring effective communication.
Building and leading a successful team to achieve project milestones.
Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, including budgeting, consultant engagement, tendering, and contract negotiations.
Crafting procurement strategies, forecasting, scheduling, and managing contractual risks.
Upholding the highest standards of health and safety.
Skills & Experience A degree in Construction Management or a related field, or a relevant trade background with substantial industry knowledge.
Demonstrable success in managing fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented approach.
Capability to prepare and present technical reports, briefs, and updates to senior management.
