About the CompanyThis national civil contracting business is a subsidiary of a global company undertaking uniquely challenging and interesting civil construction projects across the world. Following a recent tender success they now require a top-class PROJECT MANAGER to lead a high-performance project team to deliver a new earthworks project in WA, with a view to stepping up to lead the civil division in the near future.About the RoleAs civil PROJECT MANAGER you will be working on a FIFO 2/1 roster ex-Perth to deliver a recently secured project involving construction of a $30m earth structure on a WA minesite in the goldfields region. The successful PROJECT MANAGER will lead a team to ensure all key deliverables are met, to bring this project in on schedule and within budget. You will manage the financial and commercial aspects of the project (budgets/forecasting/claims), constructability planning, assist in programming, produce progress reports, manage the client interface, all while leading the site team effectively. This is a prime opportunity for a strong leader to take the helm on a high-profile civil project where you will have the ability to take ownership, influence outcomes, and really showcase your leadership ability. If you have strong demonstrated experience successfully leading large earthworks projects in WA for civil contractors in the mining sector (ie. TSFs, embankments, waste/landfill cells, turkeys nests or similar), APPLY NOW. The successful PROJECT MANAGER can expect an exceptional remuneration package of CIRCA $325K + Super (*based on experience). This role will especially appeal to a PROJECT MANAGER who has aspirations of moving into a more senior leadership role in the near future. With $150M worth of work-in-hand currently, their business is well placed for the coming years.Skills, Experience and Qualifications RequirementsMinimum Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (*or similar)10+ years' post-graduate construction experience as Senior Project Engineer/PROJECT MANAGER for civil contractors in AustraliaPrevious experience managing large-scale civil construction projects for civil contractors for mining or industrial clients in Western Australia (ie.
