Client Side Project Management position in the West Immediate Start, Paying up to $75 per hour Super Your new company A large healthcare provider requires a Project Manager (ideally with an FM background) to join the team in managing a range of minor facilities & building end-to-end project work to support ongoing building operations and clinical staff requirements across multiple sites in an exciting time of growth This position requires an immediate start with an initial 6-month tenure with opportunities for extensions, office and site-based work. Projects will include a variety of solar related projects, upgrades, ESM, mechanical switchboards and medical facility renovations. Be a part of an experienced team and make a real difference to your community in the West. Your new role Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for: Project managing a variety of minor work building projects in existing facilities including (but not limited to) internal renovations, asset upgrades, ESM, and bathroom renovations Liaising with Government stakeholders, external consultants, subcontractors, and internal clinical staff members Developing business cases, project deliverables, tender evaluations, budgeting through to delivery Managing variations and ongoing project risks & OHS requirements Assist with evacuation planning and fire service requirements What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will have: Qualifications in Engineering, Building & Construction, Facilities Management or Project Management Demonstrated experience and exposure to managing minor building projects Experience in a similar role in Government, healthcare, hospitals or aged care is highly desirable but not necessary Strong communication skills Excellent organisational skills & motivation to learn and adapt when required Current driver's licence - ability to travel between sites when necessary What you'll get in return Successful employment will present: The opportunity to deliver a variety of minor work facilities projects (client side) for a large publicly funded health care provider A friendly, diverse and supportive team culture valuing a good sense of humour An attractive hourly from $57 per hour, up to $75 per hour Superannuation Initial temporary position, 5 days per week contract with opportunity for extension.
