The steady growth in the Plexxcon Remedial division has brought about the need to bring on a Project Manager / Estimator within the team. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic person who is eager to progress their career with support working directly under the Remedial Manager and with close support from the Director.
About the roleHead up multiple remedial works projects in the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane region with the support of your administrator and project supervisors, in the $100k - $1m price range.Take control of projects from initial tender to award, including scope of work for trades and our internal teams, trade letting, programming, general project administration and final project close out.Estimating of minor works projects in the remedial works space; re-roofing, concrete repairs, remedial waterproofing etc.Lead the project administration including project variations, delays, requests for information, and general negotiations / communications.Chair site meetings with clients and liaise with project stakeholders.Provide support to the site team.Work from office and site locations.Excellent career progression to grow your own team.Be at the forefront of helping to steer company growth.About youExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience in the construction industry, remedial works preferred.Team player with a 'can do' attitude willing to go the extra mile.Diploma in Building & Construction or higher qualification.QualificationsExperience in project administration and project management.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Ability to work effectively in a team and with a range of different stakeholders.What we offerGreat salary package with reviews.Opportunity to work closely with senior leaders in a growing team.Great company culture.Recognition of successes.Your application will include the following questions:
