The Role The CLT is seeking a Project Manager (Employability) to lead a diverse range of student employability project initiatives associated with the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
They will be highly organised, demonstrate strong project management, technical, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The role will work across the entire Employability Team, leading implementation of ideas, strategies, initiatives that will work to ensure Edith Cowan University is recognised as a leader in student equity and inclusion in university education and employability.
The role supports the work of the Employability Team and its associated stakeholders, including the Student Transitions and Employability team, Access and Inclusion team, Growth Engagement and Marketing, Alumni services and Student Life.
Selection Criteria Suitable candidates will meet the following selection criteria.
Key criteria: Tertiary qualification in a relevant area with relevant work experience or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
Knowledge of inclusive practices with demonstrated experience working collaboratively with diverse communities to develop and deliver high quality resources that support individuals, with proven ability to identify and analyse required information to resolve complex problems.
Demonstrated capabilities associated with organisational awareness with regards to stakeholder management and subject matter experts; broader knowledge/understanding of industries/sectors outside of higher education.
Strong organisational skills including a demonstrated ability to independently coordinate multiple processes, prioritise tasks, and work effectively and efficiently to deadlines and within relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.
Demonstrated experience in project management across the full life cycle from identification to completion, including experience managing and leading a team with familiarity with one or more project/program management methodologies (such as PMI, PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile and MSP) Experience in service design and customer experience (CX) practices to manage and improve service delivery and achieved defined outcomes.

Benefits & Remuneration This full-time, fixed term (to 31 December 2025) position attracts remuneration of $132,326 to $138,384 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
