You will be responsible for successfully delivering complex projects safely, on time and on budget, to clients.
The Project Manager will lead the project team to meet contractual and legislative obligations and maximise profitability, in alignment with company values and procedures.Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:Leads and completes projects from beginning to endManages project start-up, maintains construction schedule and ensures effective handoverTakes ownership of all commercial aspects of project, understands the implications of team's work practices on the profitability of project, and considers the impact of costs on decisions and changesActively seeks to understand clients and other stakeholders and their needs relative to projects, and creates long term loyal relationshipsActs as a role model and proactively assesses situations to identify potential problems, and anticipate and prevents the impact of ripple effects from seemingly simple issuesCreates an environment that supports continuous team learning, creates opportunities for on-the-job learning, and facilitates continuous improvement within project teamsIdentifies capability requirements to deliver long-term strategy, growth of sustainable capability and the objectives of future clientsDemonstrates sound understanding of conditions that affect HSEQ ABOU YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Electrical Trades Certificate3 years of previous experience as Project ManagerDemonstrated experience in leading, mentoring and developing multidisciplinary and multicultural teamsExposure in various types of electrical construction installation projects – LV, HV etc.Industrial relations management knowledgeDesign and construct experienceClient & Risk ManagementProcurement and supplier managementAbility to interpret, implement and improve established engineering processes and proceduresOUR CULTUREAt Ertech, our people are fundamental to our success.
