12-month initial contract delivering complex ICT projects Your new company The Enterprise Architecture and Governance Branch provides enabling services for the entire CIO Division including Financial and Business Management, Technical Delivery, Governance Risk and Assurance and Enterprise Architecture functions and supports ICT service delivery for Agency Staff and Partners. The branch aim is to implement a sensible and comprehensive governance strategy to ensure the Successful execution and delivery of technology projects and enhancements. Your new role As the EL1 Project Manager, you'll coordinate and assume responsibility to undertake detailed or sensitive projects that may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods that may impact on the strategic or operational outcomes that support the agency's objectives. The position is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and where required will represent and negotiate on behalf of the Department to advance the agency's interests across a range of forums. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you'll ideally require the following: Minimum 3 years' experience as an ICT project manager. Demonstrated experience in managing complex ICT projects within budget and on time. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to manage risks and deliver on commitments. Proven ability to foster high-performing teams through empowering and mentoring. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and deliver organisational strategies into tangible technological solutions. Experience working with government organisations and understanding of government processes and regulations. Demonstrated experience in leading digital transformation projects and driving innovation in the public sector.
