We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager – Distribution Systems Operator (DSO) to join our Future Networks team. The individual will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of complex strategic projects and programs within Evoenergy.
About the team: Future Networks encompasses building a dynamic network that enables our customers the flexibility to maximize their generation and the ability to control their energy use as we embark on the energy transition. The Project Manager – DSO role is pivotal in ensuring project requirements are clearly defined through key stakeholder engagement and an appropriate delivery plan developed within specific time and cost parameters.
What we are offering: 1x fulltime, ongoing positionSalary of $186,058.00 plus 16% SuperannuationFree gym membership + onsite physioKey responsibilities: Project manage the delivery of highly complex business process and technology-based changes for the Evoenergy Future Networks CER Roadmap, such as the development of DOE capability and an Emergency solar PV back-stop.Undertake aspects of project management associated with ongoing change management and transition to BAU.Lead engagement with external stakeholders in collaboration with the Evoenergy teams; including representing Evoenergy at public forums, developing material for public dissemination and strategy development.Lead the development and the effective implementation of specific projects or programs which will impact internal teams across multiple groups, and a large number of external stakeholders, including the public.Contribute to ongoing business process improvements to ensure projects are delivered safely, at a high quality and in a timely, cost-effective manner.Undertake the resource management necessary for project delivery, such as the direct management of contract resources, and depending on project requirements, be accountable for managing direct reports.Our ideal candidate: You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.You have a Bachelor in Engineering (or equivalent).You have a Diploma in Project Management Practice or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications with some form of Project Management certification (e.g. PMI, PMP or PRINCE2) (Highly desirable).You have professional experience in the development of business cases and papers and the recommendations that identify strategic and critical impacts to projects and programs.You have strong leadership skills and have the ability to successfully manage and deliver programs of work on time and within budget.We understand that this is a unique role, where you may not meet all of the requirements above.
