Project Manager - Digital TransformationFulltime Hybrid | 1-Year Contract RoleAbout the RoleOur local government client is embarking on an exciting Customer Experience (CX) and Digital Transformation journey to create exceptional customer experiences through innovative, digitally-enabled solutions.We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Digital Front Door, a centralised, customer-focused platform that will transform how the community engages with council services. This platform will simplify interactions, improve communication, and personalise engagement, enhancing customer experiences while driving internal efficiencies.In addition, you will support the establishment of a Digital Project Management Office (Digital PMO), implementing best-practice frameworks to ensure the successful delivery of digital initiatives.Join an ambitious and collaborative team dedicated to delivering positive change and creating lasting value for the community.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.Create structured workflows to enhance project visibility and team collaboration.Align project deliverables with strategic goals to drive organisational success.Solve problems effectively, identifying solutions to keep projects on track.Provide leadership and guidance to teams and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Monitor project performance, budgets, and risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with organisational objectives and best-practice project management methodologies.Facilitate stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and challenges.Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative project management processes.We're Looking for Someone With:Proven expertise in managing complex projects, using project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Planner, Excel).A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to drive projects forward independently.Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide diverse teams and stakeholders.Exceptional communication skills to ensure clarity and transparency.Analytical abilities to monitor performance, manage risks, and align project goals with strategic objectives.Proficiency in budget and resource management to deliver projects on time and within scope.Experience in high-growth, purpose-driven organisations or dynamic environments.Essential Skills and Qualifications:Relevant postgraduate qualifications with 7–10 years of project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong expertise in preparing, monitoring, and reporting on budgets and project performance.Proven ability to mentor project teams and foster a high-performance culture.A passion for inclusivity, fostering a culture where everyone feels valued.Adaptability to shifting priorities and evolving project needs.Why Join Us?This is an opportunity to lead transformative projects in a purpose-driven organisation.
