Central to this is helping our customers on their decarbonisation journey utilising the technology, skills and real experience of team members across the business.UON's business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON's Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager (Dewatering) to join our Energy team in Malaga.Your main responsibilities will include:Operational Management: Ensure effective management controls are in place to achieve project objectives, including cost, schedule, quality, and risk management.Project Leadership: Lead and guide teams to deliver projects in line with contractual and company standards, supervising and scheduling all project activities.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to enhance reputation and optimise work opportunities.Financial Control: Drive project profitability through budget adherence, cost control, cash flow management, and financial reporting.Risk and Opportunity Management: Conduct regular assessments of risks and opportunities, implementing corrective actions to mitigate issues and maximise benefits.Contract and Variation Management: Manage contracts, resolve legal issues, and oversee variations, liaising with clients and administrators.Safety and Compliance: Maintain and enforce the highest standards of workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance.Resource Allocation: Forecast and allocate resources effectively to meet project delivery needs, optimising team productivity and efficiency.Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with company procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirements.Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing process enhancements and incorporate feedback to optimise project outcomes and team performance.Skills & ExperienceDegree in Engineering/Construction or equivalent trade certificate with industry experienceA minimum of 5-year mining industry experiences working in a similar roleSignificant experience in mining and resources dewatering and water infrastructure project deliveryProject management qualification (PMP), Certified associate in project management (CAPM), or equivalent experience as a project managerExperience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change managementProficiency in project management software and toolsProven performance on successful projects exceeding value of $5M+.What UON can offer youA corporate Health Cover Plan exclusive to UON employeesFlexible working arrangements (Work/Life balance)Training and Development programs (apprenticeship, traineeship, internal training)Career development opportunities working with some of the best in the industryA fun, active social clubOnly those with the unrestricted right to work in Australia will be considered.
