Established Civil Construction Head Contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver technical Civil & Demolition projects in Brisbane
Opportunity to join an experienced civil remediation team. Leading organisation in the sector with strong leadership & support. Deliver exciting and challenging projects. Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 + Super + Vehicle Workfast is partnered with a highly respected, family-owned Civil Contractor specialising in Demolition, Remediation, and Civil Earthworks projects. The projects they deliver are up to the value of $20 million on the large scale packages, and technical aspects such as asbestos removal remediation. They are going strength to strength, providing a supportive environment, allowing you to continue growing alongside highly experienced professionals within the industry.
About The Role:
In this role you will be responsible for:
Manage construction planning, programming, and completion schedules Strong understanding of Demolition, Remediation, Civil Earthworks principles. Ability to manage a team of 3-4 across 2-3 projects at a time Deliver Asbestos Awareness plans and manage adjusts as required. Procurement and allocation of necessary project resources Cost management and reporting Contract Administration, including NODs/EOTs, notices, reporting, claims Quality Assurance, including organising testing, ITPs, submissions Ensuring safe working conditions for staff and subcontractors and adhering to compliance requirements Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders. Work in partnership with the Senior Management and Director, to achieve a successful outcome. Skills and Experience Required: Tertiary qualification or certification in Engineering (Civil) or related trade qualification. 5 years plus experience in Demolition, Remediation, Civil Earthworks or Asbestos. Proven track record on project $8 million plus. Australian Drivers Licence Demolition Licence desirable Full Australian working rights Construction White Card Good stakeholders engagement and management skills. Compliance minded individual who can articulate requirements. Who are we?
