The role will support our Defence projects and deliver project management solutions to our clients.In this role you will work directly with clients to manage a variety of Defence infrastructure projects in collaboration with our talented team.You will be up for the challenge and in for the journey to play a key role in contributing to the growth of our Adelaide team through excellent project delivery. What is essential to your success is your proactive attitude and focus on project delivery and outcomes.This role offers:The opportunity to lead projects and deliver high quality work in direct communication with our clients.The chance to work across the entire project life-cycle from Business Case development through to Design, Construction and Operation.Access to industry leading specialists in the Defence market and other related sectors.Dedicated mentoring from senior leaders in our team to help you achieve your career goals and develop professionally.A flexible working arrangement within a high performing close-knit team who are passionate about what they do.What we'll like about youTo be successful in the role, the following attributes are required:Requirement:Demonstrated industry experience across the Defence infrastructure sector.Project management experience, including leadership, procurement, cost control and management of complex projects following relevant Australian standards.An in-depth understanding of project management principles and a desire to progress professionally in this field.A passion and capability in building new client stakeholder relationships and enhancing existing relationships.Exceptional communication skills with an ability to build relationships both externally and internally.An appropriate tertiary qualification aligned to project management, engineering or other related disciplines.Due to the nature of the projects, you must currently hold or have the ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance at Baseline level or higher for which you must hold Australian citizenship.Desirable:Experience in participating or leading assurance activities.Industry experience in other asset intensive operating environments such as water utilities, heavy industrial or manufacturing.What is important is that you will bring a positive and tenacious attitude with an ability to make things happen and alignment with our company purpose to 'Make Everyday Better'.What we offerA career with Beca will provide you with:Flexibility & Wellbeing: We recognise that achieving a work-life balance is unique to everyone.
