THE ROLEThe Project Manager/Account Manager will play a critical role in managing the commercial and contractual elements of the company's Defence contracts in Australia.
Based in Perth, you'll act as the linchpin between the company, clients, and suppliers, ensuring smooth and compliant contract execution while protecting financial interests.
This role will involve national and occasional international travel, providing a hands-on opportunity to engage with Defence clients and internal teams across various time zones.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESContract ManagementLead the administration and compliance of Defence contracts, ensuring all deliverables meet scope, timeline, and quality standards.Oversee contract variations, amendments, and renewals, driving value optimisation and risk management.Financial OversightConduct financial oversight, providing analysis, reporting, and forecasting to ensure profitability and budget alignment.Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and suppliers, championing company values and standards.Risk & Compliance ManagementIdentify commercial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, safeguarding the company's financial and operational interests.THE PERSONWe're looking for someone with a strategic mindset, exceptional financial acumen, and the ability to foster relationships with Defence clients and stakeholders.
