Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium comprising of industry leading Tier 1 organisations – John Holland, Service Stream and WSP.
Sydney Water has partnered with D4C to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region - from Bondi to Gerringong, and out to Georges River.
D4C is seeking a Project Manager for Critical Watermains to join our dynamic, diverse and high performing team in an exciting time of growth.
We need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.
Primary Purpose The role will lead project teams owning the outcome for the construction delivery of their allocated projects within the network, delivering critical watermains.
Key aspects include the delivery of large diameter watermains servicing an area, generally critical from a customer perspective.
This requires careful shutdown planning and includes open trench and trenchless renewals of new mains.
Key Accountabilities Manage the overall delivery of allocated projects in accordance with NEC4 processes.Assign resources to deliver the works within budget, time, quality and regulatory standards, monitor and guide workflow, and set daily, weekly and long-term project goals.Monitor staff and labour resourcing to ensure project is achieving targets.Provide constructability input into the design.Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates.Identify and manage project changes.Ensure strong contract, commercial and financial risk management, and accurate forecasting of both costs and revenue.Perform internal cost tracking and external cost reporting per client requirements.Perform all duties in accordance with Sydney Water policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures.Contribute to and foster a good safety culture.Minimum Requirements Engineering degree or equivalent (Project Management diploma or master is highly desirable).Recent work experience managing medium to large projects.White Card.We welcome and encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTQIA+, people with disability, people with caring responsibilities, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and veterans.
