The opportunity Our PM Practice is expanding and as such, we are seeking multiple, career oriented and passionate, experienced Project Managers (Consultant) to join our PM Practice team on permanent basis.
Some current engagements look like this:
Office365/SharePoint/MS Teams implementation Salesforce (CRM) plus various ERP implementations and integrations. Security uplift – IAM, Cyber, Application development. Technology Infrastructure and application implementation transformation (Cloud) And many more.
What will I be doing? As a Consultant with MetaPM you will be an integral part of consulting teams or individually, working closely with our clients to solve their business problems. Consultants will take on some project management responsibilities and/or take a leading role in developing the "answer" to client challenges. You might be involved in:
Contributing to the creation of business cases which help organisations transform. Facilitating client engagement forums to drive effective information capture and decision making Working within a PMO across multiple projects streams, or leading projects as part of a portfolio of projects, or a transformational program. Planning, overseeing, and developing project scope M anaging day to day project activities to ensure outputs are delivered on time Being comfortable working in an Agile or Waterfall framework or a mix of both (Hybrid) and lead and operate in an environment of change and ambiguity. Managing change request, budgets, action plans and allocation of resources. Identifying, analysing and managing project risk – communicating to all stakeholders/sponsors. Analysing and developing project change plans (business and people) Working with impacted stakeholders as part of the change management effort to help embed project deliverables. What attributes are we looking for? Several examples of projects you have successfully led, complemented by a prior history of strong project delivery team contribution (Agile/Waterfall or Hybrid) Project Management certified – growth mindset as demonstrated by your thirst for continued learning and experiences (Prince2, PMP, ITIL, ITSM, PMBoK, PSM, SaFE, Agile DSDM etc.) A proven ability to solve complex problems creatively. You get into the detail and uncover issues and roadblocks that are derailing the project – identify and remove them. Ability and confidence to provide balanced, pragmatic advice to senior managers and executives via strong communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated capacity to develop and adopt new approaches, ideas, and work practices. Easily adaptable to different situations, clients, industries, or processes. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively both as part of and leading project teams (small to medium) As you can see the opportunities to get involved in different projects and clients are very broad, so we are looking for someone with a broad capability and interest in all things Project Management.
You will have a mix of some, or all the experiences defined above (we don't expect you are to be specialist in everything), but more importantly you will be interested in a variety of industries and roles and can adapt your style and apply your skills and experience to them.
