This program involves substantial redesigns to enhance key stations across Queensland Rail's Regional Network.You will serve as the primary representative for Queensland Rail's Project Management Framework, overseeing the successful delivery of projects from conceptual design through detailed design, construction, and final handover. You will manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring each meets its scope, budget, and schedule. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Commercial and Contractors Manager to develop and implement the program's commercial framework, ensuring all contractual and commercial aspects are effectively managed.Your leadership will be pivotal in driving the program's success, ensuring high standards are met and that stakeholder engagement and risk management are prioritised throughout the project lifecycle.Key responsibilities include:Oversee strategic planning and direction for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring compliance with Queensland Rail's Project Management Framework.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across internal departments and external parties, including DTMR, local governments, and community groups.Facilitate project delivery and governance interactions between design and construction teams in project-based settings.Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring successful program delivery and achievement of targets and KPIs.Lead negotiations and navigate project management, governance, and financial obligations to support strategic decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate with internal business functions to lead the asset handover framework, ensuring alignment with Queensland Rail's requirements.Act as the primary contact for project delivery interactions, including site visits, schedule updates, forecasting, and reporting.Support the Commercial and Contracts Manager in developing and implementing the commercial framework, addressing ongoing commercial matters during construction and handover stages.What we're looking for:Knowledge and experience in the project delivery of public infrastructure projects, particularly associated with railway infrastructure.A minimum of 3 years of experience undertaking project management, project engineering, contract administration, or other related project delivery roles.Experience leading stakeholders and external design and delivery professionals.High-level of influencing, interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills.Knowledge of design obligations, operations, construction, maintenance, and safety.Remuneration & Employment Type:This is a permanent, fulltime position, based in Brisbane CBD with a starting base salary of $146,240 plus 12.75% superannuation and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.Benefits that Count:Balance your work and personal life with flexible working options.Enjoy free travel to work and discounted rail travel.QRI Lifestyle offers members access to over 2,000 exclusive discounts and services.Prioritise your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing with our range of free services.You and your family can get fit and have fun with access to over 380 gyms and pools with our Fitness Passport.Eligible employees can receive up to 100% reimbursement for professional membership fees.Shape your rewarding career with clear pathways, innovative projects, and opportunities for growth and leadership.Progress that Counts:Joining Queensland Rail means being part of an exciting future where you'll welcome millions of international passengers for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
