Thomas McWilliam is proud to partner with a leading Commercial Construction company located in Bathurst, NSW, in search of their next Project Manager. Our client delivers diverse commercial projects for Government, Commercial, and Local Council sectors across regional NSW.
About the Role: Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Project Manager will facilitate the project deliverables efficiently and effectively whilst coordinating with the Site Manager to control quality and safety parameters of the project. The Project Manager will be the central point of contact for all project stakeholders and clients whilst working closely with the on-site team to ensure a safe, professional, and profitable delivery of each project is achieved.
Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple complex construction projects simultaneously to ensure they are completed successfully and on schedule.Accurately identify and fulfill customer needs, cultivate strong relationships, and take ownership of customer satisfaction.Lead and manage all phases of assigned projects, maintaining project baselines and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and Australian regulations and customer requirements.Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.Communication and coordination of trades, suppliers and consultants within strict timeframes.Conduct regular site inspections across regional NSW.Qualifications and Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years' experience as Project Manager in the Commercial Construction sector.Financial knowledge to keep projects within budget limits.Detailed knowledge of Australian Building Standards and WHS regulations.Strong knowledge of construction processes.Australian Citizenship and an unrestricted driver's license.Computer literate with extensive skills with Office suite, MS Projects & Hammertech.Excellent organisational and leadership skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.What Our Client Offers: Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work with a reputable company on large-scale projects in regional NSW.Supportive team environment and professional development opportunities.If you are an experienced, motivated and skilled Project Manager in Commercial Construction looking to advance your career in a thriving company, we want to hear from you!
