TAFE NSW Life-Changing Careers Project Manager CoE Education State-wide Opportunity (depending on TAFE NSW campus availability) Temporary Full-time until June 2028 Total Remuneration Package $191,958.

About the role TAFE NSW is seeking a Project Manager to join our Manufacturing Centres of Excellence team.
Reporting to the Manager of Education, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of higher apprenticeship and microcredential curriculum, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards responsive to industry needs.
Your responsibilities will include managing education development projects that involve external partners, instructional designers, learning technology specialists, digital content creators, subject matter experts, educators, and support teams to develop and refine innovative curriculum content.
Regular updates and reports on project status, challenges, and milestones to the Manager of Education are essential, as is the ability to problem-solve and keep the project teams on task.
Additionally, you will implement and maintain project management processes and tools to ensure efficient workflow and communication, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks that may impact project delivery.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel as required to other TAFE NSW Campus locations at Western Sydney, Hunter and Illawarra Regions.
About You The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Degree qualification in project management/ related field or equivalent significant experience. Strong experience in all phases of project management from design to implementation and evaluation within a complex service delivery environment. Significant record of achievement delivering complex business focused (non-technology based) projects to achieve business or operational related objectives. Demonstrated high level stakeholder management skills to positively engage and collaborate on project activities. Extensive experience in curriculum project management within the vocational and/or tertiary sectors. Strong organisational and time management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality standards are essential. Excellent communication and collaboration skills will enable you to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of educational programs.
