With 228 offices in 64 countries (13 in Australia & NZ), we leverage our global and industry experience to manage risk while maximising value and performance during the construction and operation of our clients' assets.Job DescriptionLead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.Develop working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion.Manage a multidisciplinary design team to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations.Administer GC21 and other construction contracts including variations, extensions of time, WHS, Quality and building commissioning requirements.
Review project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.Manage project timelines, risks and reporting.Manage project budgets and advise on options to keep budget on track.Manage the change control process.Monitor and advise upon project finances.Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.Engage with marketing and business development initiatives.QualificationsA recognised Degree qualification relating to Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or another technical field.Experience in the delivery of social infrastructure projects (Health, Education, Local Government) is ideal.Must be able to fit into a small team environment.Ambitious and able to drive outcomes.Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regarded.Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to clients.Additional InformationWhy Turner & Townsend?At Turner & Townsend, we believe our people are at the heart of our success.
