This established Development Advisory and Project Management consultancy with offices in the states across Australia is looking for a Project Manager for their Brisbane office.
The company has over 50 staff with a mix of project management and development advisory consultants. They have an exciting pipeline of Health, University, and Sports and Recreation projects including refurbishments and major brownfield new developments.
The office has two Senior Directors focused on front-end planning and delivery, giving you close support and mentorship to develop your experience across all stages of the project lifecycle in a small close-knit environment.
They partner with clients from scope definition and design management, through the appointment of consultants and contractors, construction delivery, and handover.
The role:You will work with a Senior PM and Associate to manage projects across all stages. You will be involved in design coordination, tendering/procurement, contract administration, progress, budget, and risk reporting and liaise with the client throughout the project's lifecycle. You will liaise directly with consultants and building contractors to ensure design and quality are met.
Duties & Responsibilities:Support the advisory team coordinating consultants and architects for the completion of concept and schematic designsDrive the project programProgress reports and updates to the Client Stakeholder groupTender activities engaging with consultants and head contractorsContracts administration claims and variation reportingRequirements:4 years + Client Side Project management experienceTeam player, able to work in a small team environmentExperience delivering projects in the Social Infrastructure sectorsIdeally, you will have a construction management, architecture, civil engineering or another property-related degree.There is a strong pipeline of projects coming out of the planning stages and this is a good opportunity to join a company without the large corporate bureaucracy blocking your path to career growth.
