Growing boutique client-side project management consultancy who also undertakes developer builder work. Initially 60% head contractor work and 40% client-side work with some development management work happening in the future. Great culture and team, great pipeline of work. Projects range from smaller up to $20m across a variety of sectors including new build, refurb, and fit-out. Current larger projects involve developer builder work on townhouses, apartments, and some commercial projects.
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work on a mix of exciting new projects, including new build apartments, townhouses, and commercial projects in the Brisbane City Fringe. Projects will range from smaller up to $20m.
Project experience related to residential, townhouses, apartments, and commercial projects is beneficial; however, their work also varies across retail and facilities. Candidates can come from client-side consultancy or main contractor backgrounds, with delivery experience up to $20m+.
Candidates will need experience in head contracting, as the company undertakes developer builder projects. Individuals with a background as a contract administrator or project engineer on the head contractor side will also be suitable.
Years of Experience: 3 - 7 years +
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Client management and consultation Project planning and feasibility studies Risk management Value engineering Design management Procurement of construction services Delivery of construction services Cost control and cost reporting Commissioning and post-contract duties for handover Qualifications and Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar Experience on residential/accommodation building projects Ideally, experience in end-to-end project management on building projects Experience in business development or a strong network would be an advantage Leadership skills Strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous client-side project management experience is ideal This is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organization that offers challenging work.
