Work Type: Full Time, PermanentLocation: Darwin, Northern TerritoryAbout The Role:With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Northern Territory team to work on our various projects based in NT. Your primary responsibility will be strategically managing projects through effective management of people and processes to deliver the projects on time, within budget and to achieve the desired outcomes aligned with the company's objectives and in compliance with all relevant legislations.
This role is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Darwin, Northern Territory. Relocation cost is covered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:Develop and maintain project schedules, identify critical path activities, and proactively address potential delays to ensure timely project completion.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure safety for all stakeholders.Address project challenges and conflicts in a timely and decisive manner, seeking innovative solutions to keep the project on track.Monitor and review progress reports to align with broader outcome goals.Manage and review contractors, sub-contractors, service suppliers and other project vendors and direct improvements as required.Review and approve Notices of Delay, variations, EOT submissions and progress claims.Review and approve supplier/subcontractor invoices.Perform overall quality control of the work and regularly report on project status.Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.Lead and manage the project team for effective project delivery.Monitor project cashflow and apply cost control against budget.About You:To be successful in the role, you will need:
Tertiary engineering qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.Construction White Card and Current driver's license.Ability to obtain DCSI and Defence clearance.Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fit for work assessment.Competency in Project Management software (e.g., Microsoft Professional Suite, MS Project, Primavera), ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP, Oracle e-business) and project management platforms (e.g., InEight, Aconex, Procore).Sound understanding of Australian Standards (AS).Experience in leading, managing and motivating teams.Problem-solving and innovative approach and ability to work under pressure.As an employer who embraces equal opportunity and diversity, we strongly encourage female, Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
