The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the culture of Cherrie Civil Engineering while managing project timelines, budgets, and client relationships effectively.Key Responsibilities:Culture and LeadershipLead and nurture a transparent, diverse, and rewarding work environment.Align team efforts with company values and foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence.Quality Assurance, Safety, and Environmental ManagementManage and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS/NZS 4801, and AS/NZS ISO 14001.Oversee the environmental management of the project site and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.Conduct internal audits and manage the overall safety and health standards on-site.Liaise with subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.Project Planning and ExecutionCollaborate with estimators for contract reviews and understanding project requirements.Implement systems to disseminate relevant information to all project stakeholders.Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion and within budget.Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships to ensure alignment with project requirements.Regularly assess project risks (safety, environmental, financial) and implement control measures.CommunicationMaintain open communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members.Provide regular project updates and address issues promptly.Continuous Improvement and TrainingIdentify training needs and encourage a culture of ongoing learning.Stay updated on industry trends and ensure efficient task completion.Skills and Qualifications:Tertiary engineering qualificationCurrently reside in Sydney and be able to travel across sites.Minimum of ten years experience working in Australia as an engineer.Proven experience in project management within the civil engineering sector.Strong understanding of quality, safety, and environmental management systems.Exceptional leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Work with a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to success and safety.If you are passionate about driving excellence in civil engineering projects and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply!To apply, email your resume and cover letter to ******
