Project Manager/Civil Engineer

Civil Construction Company in Nothern Suburbs Melbourne is seeking a motivated and proactive Civil Engineer/Project Manager to play a key role in our team.In this position, you will collaborate closely with both the Managing and Operations Directors. Your primary responsibilities will include estimating, managing, budgeting, planning and forecasting for civil projects.Qualifications:5 to 10 years of experience in the civil private sector.Proficiency in tendering, estimation, planning, budgeting, and document preparation.Strong understanding of contracts and specifications, particularly technical and engineering aspects.Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental plans, including SWMs, procedures, inspection and test plans, and relevant documentation.Ordering of materials for projects and manage daily work activities.Monitor project costs, addressing any discrepancies between budgeted and actual expenses.Handle progress claims and variations.Prepare monthly budget reports for the Directors.Familiarity with IMS systems.Highly organised and punctual.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.Solid grasp of workplace health and safety and risk management policies.Capability to interpret various standards and drawings.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Hands-on, proactive approach.Ability to multitask and think ahead.Valid driver's license.Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.Salary is negotiable.If you're ready to make a difference in our projects, we'd love to hear from you!
