In this role, you will lead dynamic teams overseeing and coordinating full project scopes of work, tendering, execution, and final completion.
The Role: You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
Overall responsibility for project performance and deliveryCoordinate with client's detail of project Completion of projects in due time and within stipulated budgetProcurement of resources and planning of works to meet project timelines and budgetsAttend all required trainings, meetings, discussions, SWMS induction, safety procedures, and all relevant compliance related to any project at one time. Read plans and blueprints and communicate to the workers Managing contract negotiations with external parties to reach profitable agreements and obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authoritiesEnsuring and championing a culture of Safety with a goal of zero harm for all staff, contractors and clientsTo be successful in this role, you will possess: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil EngineeringPrevious experience in earthworks, shoring and demolition projects over $1M Strong computer literacy and proficiencyMeticulous documentation and organisational skillsWide knowledge of survey alignments, earthwork volumes, geotechnical issues, project budgeting, and cost controlSound knowledge of survey equipment and fixing of reference points to set-out grids, layouts etc.Understanding of construction industry and suppliers Sound understanding of engineering drawings, designs, specifications and implement accordingly First class communication & planning skillsA strong focus on quality, safety and the environment
