CBGU JV is working on Queensland's largest infrastructure project and we're building our team for the future. South East Queensland is about to embark on a period of sustained growth in the lead up to the 2032 Olympics, and we are thrilled to be involved in developing Cross River Rail, which will forever change the way Queenslander's travel.
CBGU JV brings together CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane's Cross River Rail, the 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand.
All project sites and offices are based in inner city Brisbane, and what's not to love. Queensland's 'River City' is booming with activity, while still retaining its laidback lifestyle. One project team, building career opportunities for you. Reporting to the Precinct Manager, the Project Manager - Buildings will sit within the construction delivery team.
You will be responsible for: Interpreting, planning, coordinating and administering construction engineering activities in line with the project documentation.Active management and liaising with site-based personnel, subcontractors and suppliers.Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities.Understanding of the Construction Management Plan, Quality Management Plan. Safety Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan.Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project.Value manage and contribute to improvement of existing designs.Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements.Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.Assisting the Precinct Manager in preparing accurate monthly reports.Developing and monitoring KPI and productivity analysis against program and budget.Minimum requirements for this role include the following: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant discipline.Extensive background in Building & Fitout with a minimum 10 years' industry experience.Proven experience with a top-tier or mid-tier building contractor.Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices and expectations.At CBGU JV, we are committed to workplace diversity and to providing flexible work opportunities on our project.
