Description: Overview of role:
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of projects that support the goals of the Assets & Operations Group. You'll ensure these projects meet budget, time, and quality standards set by the Investment Review Committee, Project Management Office, and relevant legislation, including the Work Health & Safety Act. This role also involves engaging stakeholders, managing risks, and leading by example to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver assigned projects to specification, on time, and within budget Conduct project evaluations, feasibility studies, and investigations Prepare comprehensive project documentation that meets required standards Manage resources efficiently and effectively, ensuring milestones are met Engage stakeholders and manage their expectations throughout project delivery Identify and manage project risks and implement business improvements Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations and promote a safe workplace Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants, contractors, and suppliers Qualifications and Experience: A tertiary degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or a trade qualification with substantial experience in project or site management Eligible for membership in the Institute of Engineers Australia or Australian Institute of Project Management Proven project management skills with a strong record of delivering on time, within budget, and to specification Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skills Knowledge of WH&S legislation and project management methodologies Sound like you? Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 4, $93,548 - $112,895 plus superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
