We have an opportunity for a Project Manager based in Baralaba!
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for work based in Baralaba, Queensland.
This role you will be accountable for the safe, efficient, smooth and profitable delivery of the daily operational activity & workshops and for building and maintaining a strong relationship with our customer and local community.
Reporting to the General Manager, your major focus will be leading the day-to-day haulage and workshop activities, communicating and reporting to the customer; driving safety initiatives; managing the workforce and delivering profitable results for the business.
Key aspects of this role include:Ensuring safety initiatives are implemented, monitored and sustainedSetting up and conducting on-site risk assessmentsEnsure depot compliance and HSE requirements are being metLead a team to ensure customer inventories are effectively managedPlanning and managing production to meet customer requirementsRecruiting, on-boarding and training new employeesBuilding effective relationships with all company stakeholdersIdentifying cost management initiativesDrive improved commercial outcomes for the siteEnsure customer KPI's are achieved (or surpassed)Ensure weekly reporting and understanding of variance analysis of contract profitability to senior management on a weekly basisTo be considered for this role, you will ideally demonstrate:5 years' experience within the Transport and Logistics industryExceptional safety leadership qualitiesHave broad people management skillsDemonstrated customer relationship building skillsOutstanding commercial and financial acumenFull profit and loss accountability at either contract or branch levelAbility to multitask and priorities work across the divisionExcellent attention to detailIf you believe you meet the above requirements, please APPLY NOW or call Mel on 0488 931 853 for more info!
