You could be one of our 2700 committed team members who are up to the challenge.About the roleWe are seeking a proactive Project Manager (AWP Priority) - Structures, Civil & Facilities to lead high-priority projects within V/Line's Major Periodic Maintenance Program, ensuring compliance with our 7-Year Plan and Service Level Agreement. In this role, you will provide management and mentorship to Project Engineers, fostering team development while maintaining a safe work environment through effective risk management. Join us to make a significant impact on our infrastructure and contribute to a culture of excellence and safety!Key accountabilities include:Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor Project Engineers to enhance team capabilities in delivering high-priority projects across structures, civil, and facilities disciplines.Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the identification, planning, and development phases of MPM projects, establishing dynamic work packages and ensuring stakeholder requirements are met.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify cost-effective solutions, manage approvals, and minimise service disruptions.Reporting & Compliance: Provide program and project reporting for KPI tracking, ensuring adherence to V/Line's Design Management Process and MPM Framework.Safety & Risk Management: Coordinate Safety in Design workshops and manage risks throughout project development and close-out activities.About youWe are in search of a skilled Project Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and is adept at navigating complex stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in managing large-scale civil or structural projects, particularly within the railway sector.
