Background / OverviewThe project is responsible for addressing the threat from small Uncrewed Aerial Systems (sUAS) through acquiring a suite of Counter sUAS (CsUAS) capabilities to meet the evolving Department needs. These capabilities will be used to protect deployed forces domestically and internationally to secure infrastructure, expeditionary bases, dismounted personnel and all classes of vehicles.
Management of the project will require a highly skilled and motivated Integrated Project Manager to co-ordinate the complex and time constrained delivery of capability. The Integrated Project Manager will be responsible for solicitation, delivery and acceptance of multiple varied lines of effort, delivering services and equipment and integrated capability within a short period of time.
Integrated Project Manager - Key Required TasksManage the project, schedule, budget and scope to deliver the required CsUAS capability.Manage a multidisciplinary Project team consisting of project support, commercial, engineering, technical, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and logistics staff to develop capability solicitation documentation. These activities will include developing Conditions of Tender (CoT), Statements of Work (SOW), Description of Requirements and other key supporting solicitation documentation.Manage and co-ordinate the solicitation processes for multiple concurrent complex capability procurement activities. These activities will include the management of tender processes, development of tender evaluation plans and management of tender evaluations.Manage multiple Contract Negotiations with preferred tenderers across three separate lines of effort. Provide lead oversight of the negotiations process and develop and brief the Delegate and Sponsor on the source evaluation outcomes.Lead the conduct of the Integrated Project Management and Lead Program Steering Group meetings ensuring coordination and engagement with key stakeholders to ensure stakeholder equities are considered in the execution and delivery of the Capability.Conduct regular project risk workshops ensuring that Risks and Opportunities are captured, regularly reviewed, and mitigations and opportunities are implemented to ensure delivery of capability.Be responsible and accountable for the development and presentation of senior executive presentations and briefings on an as required basis.Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders to gain agreement and manage expectations.Coordinate board meetings and reviews to achieve governance decisions.Manage and prioritise the tasking of multidisciplinary project resources in accordance with the required delivery schedule to ensure that the capability can be delivered on time, on budget and within scope.Assistant Project Manager - BackgroundThe Assistant Project Manager will take direction from the Integrated Project Manager (IPM) to support the delivery of complex capability in a time and resource constrained project office. The APM will be responsible to provide direct support to the IPM in authoring, reviewing and releasing solicitation documentation, preparing briefs, minutes and presentations to support senior executive decisions and notifications. The APM will contribute to the timely development, planning and support to execution of the multiple varied lines of effort, ensuring delivery of services, artefacts and equipment for the capability.
Assistant Project Manager - Key Required TasksExecution of the direction provided by the Integrated Project Manager to ensure schedule, budget and scope management and execution tasks are completed to deliver the required CsUAS capability.In the absence of the IPM, the APM may be delegated the IPM role for periods of time and will be required to conduct the duties of the IPM to ensure the timely and quality delivery of the Capability continues as seamlessly as possible.Working collegiately within a multidisciplinary project team consisting of project support, commercial, engineering, technical, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and logistics staff to develop capability solicitation documentation efficiently and effectively. Key tasks will include supporting the IPM in drafting Endorsements to Proceed, Conditions of Tender (CoT), Statements of Work (SOW), Description of Requirements and other key supporting solicitation and project documentation.Participating in the solicitation processes for multiple concurrent complex capability procurement activities, including drafting of supporting artefacts to ensure successful evaluations. Providing assistance with the coordination of tender processes, development of tender evaluation plans and participation in Tender Evaluation Working Groups (TEWGs).Participating in Contract Negotiations with preferred tenderers providing key project management input into the negotiations processes as part of assisting the IPM to achieve negotiations outcomes. Supporting the IPM in drafting of the supporting artefacts for the negotiations, source evaluations and delegate approvals.Supporting the IPM in the development of presentations and talking points for Integrated Project Management Team and Program Steering Groups engagements, to support the execution and delivery of the Capability.Participating as a key project management contributor to regular project risk workshops ensuring that Risks and Opportunities are captured and mitigations and opportunities are implemented to assure the delivery of capability.Communicating and collaborating with external stakeholders to develop and draft key documents in support of the delivery of the capability.As directed by the IPM to manage and prioritise execution of tasks in accordance with the required delivery expectations to support the capability delivery. #J-18808-Ljbffr
