ABOUT THE ROLE Working as a key member of the NSW Ambulance Assets and Infrastructure team, the position delivers a range of services and project management expertise for asset and infrastructure projects and represents NSW Ambulance in regular interactions with NSW Health Infrastructure (HI). The Project Manager Asset & Infrastructure will work with relevant key stakeholders to ensure that projects are realistically planned, developed, implemented and evaluated within the agreed timeframes and budget, applicable standards and regulations. This also includes activities relating to community engagement, design, construction, handover and the development of the ongoing facility and maintenance schedules for the buildings.

The Position requires developing the project scope and management of refurbishment and maintenance projects for existing facilities and developing the agreed design and scope of the building works for new ambulance facilities, delivered according to the construction plans and the varying operational complexities by influencing and persuading key stakeholders. Ensuring that the critical milestones are met in a high volume, competing priority work environment. Achieving project deadlines and milestones to the required standards and targets within budget, including compliance with applicable Australian standards (AS), National Construction Codes (NCC) and other regulations, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and accurate documentation. The position requires travelling to regional sites for project scoping, implementation and regular inspections.
