Project Manager (APS5/6 and EL1/2)
We are seeking professionals with a background in project management at the APS5, APS6, EL1, and EL2 levels to assist with a major reform project for a Commonwealth Government client. These roles are based in Canberra, ACT (flexible work arrangements will be considered in line with business requirements). Initial 12-month labour hire contracts are on offer, with possible 12-month extensions. As multiple positions are available, please specify in your cover letter which role/s you are interested in. Please note: only candidates with an existing Baseline (or above) security clearance can be considered for these roles.
Project Manager (EL1/2) Duties:
Provide leadership and management of a multi-disciplined project team and coordinate project activities including support to strategic planning, governance functions, and human resource management.
Managing and leading a team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility, and guiding and developing people.
Management of schedule, risk, budget, and resources, preparation of briefings, submissions, reports, and returns relating to the project progress and issues in accordance with organisational requirements.

Exercise a high degree of independence and perform a leadership role.
Sound decision-making and judgment to provide expert advice.
