About the RoleThe Project Manager for the ANZCO Clinical Trial Network is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a multidisciplinary team across 11 children's cancer centres in Australia and New Zealand.Based at the Royal Women's Hospital, this role supports the Principal Investigator in managing a suite of oncofertility research projects, including setting up systems, monitoring milestones, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with ethical and clinical guidelines.The Project Manager also handles recruitment, data management, and day-to-day operations, while supervising research teams and supporting new funding applications and staff employment.
This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to collaboration and integrity.Your responsibilities will include: Liaise with study sponsors and all members of the ANZCO clinical trials team to ensure smooth trial documentation, recruitment processes, and the successful initiation of studies across multiple Australian health institutions.Oversee the coordination and management of six interlinked MRFF research studies, ensuring milestones are met by managing resources, timelines, and communications while addressing any issues that may impact trial success.Supervise and support research teams across multiple sites, ensuring proper training, data collection, and protocol adherence, while stepping in to assist with tasks when necessary.
Who We Are Looking ForYou will hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in Health Sciences, Clinical Trial Management, or a related field, with extensive experience in clinical project management, trial coordination, and governance across multiple sites.You will demonstrate strong knowledge of ICH GCP and NH&MRC policies, excellent organisational skills, grant writing experience, and proficiency in database management.Your ability to work autonomously and with teams, coupled with high-level communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, will ensure the success of complex research projects.
Experience in medical terminology, digital health, and oncology is desirable.You will also have: Strong communications skillsLeadership skillsExperience in clinical trial project management For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.
